R&D Grant Scheme

The MSC Malaysia Research and Development Grant Scheme (MGS) which has an allocation of RM85 million, is designed to help your company develop its ICT/multimedia products to its full commercial potential.

For company that is locally-owned and has MSC Malaysia status, MGS will provide a non-repayable grant of up to 50% (or up to 1.2 million) of the approved total project cost to develop your company`s R&D programmes.

IP Grant Scheme

Intellectual property (IP) protection is important to ensure your company`s growth is not impeded by irresponsible parties. MSC Malaysia aims to assist you with the right funding to help you protect and capitalize on your company`s intellectual assets.

For local MSC Malaysia Status Company, the MSC Malaysia Intellectual Property Grant Scheme (IPGS) will subsidise up to 70% of the initial costs incurred for filing applications to register trade / service marks, patents (including utility innovations) and industrial designs, whether in Malaysia or your company in obtaining IP protection.

Technopreneur Pre-Seed Fund Programme

MSC Malaysia’s Technopreneur Pre-Seed Fund Programme is initiated in Rancangan Malaysia Ke 9 to catalyze the creation of local Technopreneurs and K-SMEs in ICT, in an effort to promote greater growth of the local ICT Industry. This programme addresses 2 issues, namely narrowing the funding gap at pre-seed stage and also to boost the development of commercially viable ICT projects and kick off a chain reaction in the creation of new local K-SMEs in ICT
